The challenge to find just which is the greatest goal in the history of the AFF Championship continues as we are down to another pair of clashes featuring some fabulous strikes.

Two of the goals below will progress through to the semi-finals as we look to see what you, the fans, think is the greatest goal in the competition's history.

Today there are more fabulous efforts to choose from featuring Indonesian and Vietnamese forwards as well as a star Malaysian midfielder and an unlikely wonder goal from a young Indonesian full-back.

CRISTIAN GONZALES (2010) vs NGUYEN AHN DUC (2018)

Remarkably Cristian Gonzales is still playing at the age of 46 in Indonesia where he’ll forever be remembered for this absolute stunner from distance against the Philippines in the semi-finals of the 2010 edition, a goal that helped book his nation’s place in the final.

A superb, swivelling, volley from Nguyen Ahn Duc was the goal that decided the 2018 final as Vietnam won the title for the second time, a fantastic strike under huge pressure on the biggest stage in Southeast Asian football.

SAFIQ RAHIM (2012) vs PRATAMA ARHAN (2020)

The Bukit Jalil National Stadium was lit up by this wonderous long-range free-kick from Safiq Rahim in the group stage back in 2012 with the midfielder enhancing his reputation as a dead-ball specialist with one of the finest set-piece strikes that we’ve seen in Southeast Asian football.

Touch, control, power and precision: this fantastic laser from young full-back Pratama in the 2020 tournament was one of many highlights for a youthful Indonesia side that made it all the way to the final.
