The AFF Suzuki Cup 2018's Group Stage concluded on Sunday with the identity of our semi-finalists confirmed for the knockout phase. The Philippines and Thailand join Vietnam and Malaysia in what are sure to be some exciting ties to determine ASEAN's kings.

In a twist to our regular Player of the Round feature, we've included a special entry at number four, please choose your favourite in the poll at the end of the article.

Supachai Jaided (Thailand)

Dubbed a player with a "great and bright future ahead of him" by Thailand coach Milovan Rajevac, 19-year-old Buriram United starlet Supachai shone once more as the War Elephants defeated Singapore 3-0 to win Group B.

In a man-of-the-match performance, the forward netted Thailand’s second goal and his third strike of the tournament to justify his inclusion in the defending champions' line-up having been picked as the last member to their squad for the AFF Suzuki Cup.

Nguyen Quang Hai (Vietnam)

Played in a more advanced role behind the strikers, Vietnam's precociously gifted Nguyen Quang Hai excelled in his freer attacking role and doubled his tally for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 campaign so far, with his country's second of the night.

The 21-year-star continues to live up the hype and, if he maintains this form, then he could lead Vietnam all the way to a second AFF Suzuki Cup title, ending a decade-long since their maiden championship.

Mohamadou Sumareh (Malaysia)

No goals yet for Gambia-born Malaysian attacker Mohamadou Sumareh but the Pahang FA wide forward unquestionably caught the eye for Harimau Malaya in their 3-0 defeat of Myanmar with his dribbling skills and pace on the right flank.

An acrobatic effort that clattered the crossbar would have been a spectacular way to open his AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 account, but his coach Tan Cheng Hoe believes the goals will come: “Sumareh made a lasting impression and also adapted to the adjustments that were made in attack."

Roshan Gunasakaran and Shinna Teh (Malaysia)

A special entry for a special couple, Malaysia fan Roshan Gunnasakaran proposed to girlfriend (now fiancée) Shinna Teh in the packed stands of Bukit Jalil Stadium at half-time during the Malaysia-Myanmar tie.

Putting your heart on the line in front of over 80,000 people, now that's what we call a man-of-the-match performance! Congratulations guys!
