September 14: The AFF Suzuki Cup Trophy Tour kicks off tomorrow in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking the start of a thrilling countdown to the region’s much-loved football tournament.

Cambodia’s former captain and current national team assistant coach Oung Kanyanith will attend the exciting occasion along with VIPs, officials, and sponsors at the Lively Plaza at Aeon Mall. The event starts at 3pm local time.

Next month the Trophy Tour heads to Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila and Yangon

The AFF Suzuki Cup stirs the emotions of football fans across the region and a strong turnout of support is expected when the Trophy takes to the road.

Defending champions Thailand have been drawn in Group B in the AFF Suzuki Cup against Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Timor-Leste.

In Group A, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos will battle it out in what will be the 12th staging of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

An exciting new format is being used for the first time this year that will see each team play two games at home and two games away in the Group stages.
