Do not forget to cast your vote below!

Theerathon Bunmathan (Thailand)

Theerathon Bunmathan has led Thailand from the front in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 and he was again one of their standout players in the first leg of the final. Finding themselves a goal behind, the War Elephants were unlucky not to equalise before the break as skipper Theerathon's free-kick rattled the woodwork. But the Thais did restore parity as Theerathon found Poramet Arjvirai over the Vietnam defence and the attacker did the rest to make it 1-1.

The former Yokohama F. Marinos man was also the architect of Thailand's second as he displayed excellent vision to release Sarach Yooyen on goal just after the hour mark. Theerathon also contributed to the defence, making four successful tackles and one interception.

Nguyen Hoang Duc (Vietnam)

In seven games at the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022, Nguyen Hoang Duc has accounted for one goal and two assists. But the first leg of the final against six-time champions Thailand was perhaps the 25-year-old Viettel midfielder's best display in the tournament so far as he helped Vietnam fight back to earn a 2-2 draw in Hanoi. Hoang Duc had 84 touches and completed 64 passes at a solid success rate of 90 percent.

The Vietnam midfielder also won six of the 11 duels he competed in an all-round display as he looks to win his first AFF Championship winner's medal in Park Hang-seo's farewell tournament.

Sarach Yooyen (Thailand)

Thirty-year-old Sarach Yooyen has never been a prolific scorer during his almost decade-long international career, but the BG Pathum United man has scored a couple of big goals for Alexandre Polking's side at the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022. His first was an equaliser for 10-man Thailand in their crucial group stage fixture against Indonesia.

Then in the first leg of the final with the score at 1-1, Sarach made a well-timed run to get behind the Vietnam defence and give his side the lead with a smart finish past Dang Van Lam. There is no wonder why he received warm applause from the away fans at the My National Dinh Stadium as he was replaced in the 84th minute.

Nguyen Tien Linh (Vietnam)

Vietnam took a crucial early advantage against visitors Thailand in the first leg of the final on Friday and who else but Nguyen Tien Linh to score it. The Becamex Binh Duong striker arrived in the box to plant the ball in the back of the net by meeting a Que Ngoc Hai cross with a diving header in the 24th minute. His sixth goal of the tournament moved him level with Teerasil Dangda in the race for the top goalscorer with just the return leg left to play.

Tien Linh had a total of four attempts at goal with two of them on target. He also won six duels during the 90 minutes and made two clearances as the Vietnamese goal faced a number of Thai attacks.
