And so it all comes down to this. We’ve arrived at the climax of the 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup as Indonesia and Thailand get set for battle for the second and last time in Saturday's showpiece.

The first leg was something of a one-sided affair with Thailand cruising to a 4-0 win and Shin Tae-yong's Indonesia side now have to pull off miracle to claim a maiden title.

But, as the experienced Korean coach says, "the ball is round" and anything can happen in football.

Here are our selection for the men who could make a difference. Vote below on who you think could be the key player to look out for.

Pratama Arhan (Indonesia)

Suspended for the first leg of the final, Pratama Arhan was dearly missed by the Garuda on Wednesday with the young full-back's defensive and offensive qualities having been on show for much of AFF Suzuki Cup 2020.

Defensively sound, comfortable on the ball and in the tackle, Pratama will restore some much needed stability in the backline, while his threat in the final third will be essential as Indonesia look to claw back a mammoth deficit.

Theerathon Bunmathan (Thailand)

Like his fellow left-back Pratama, Theerathon Bunmathan was also suspended for the first leg and, although his absence was not as keenly felt by his team, the quality he brings is undeniable and he is routinely one of Thailand's key performers.

A reliable presence defensively as well as being a serious threat from dead-ball situations, Theerathon is often the man to bring the ball forward out of defence to start the Thai attacking movement, and he's likely to be found playing the final pass too after another surging run up the left flank.

Irfan Jaya (Indonesia)

Indonesia's leading goalscorer at AFF Suzuki Cup 2020, how Garuda fans will be hoping he can rediscover his form in the penalty area when they need him most after three games without finding the net. A crucial brace that began Indonesia's comeback after they went behind to Malaysia on Matchday Five will live long in the memory, but he has struggled since.

With a minimum of four goals needed to restore parity, Indonesia need goals on Saturday and they will need them quickly to stand any chance of a comeback for the ages. Irfan may be their best hope.

Teerasil Dangda (Thailand)

Currently leading the scoring charts alongside teammate Chanathip Songkrasin, Teerasil Dangda, who became the all-time leading goalscorer in AFF Suzuki Cup history during the group stage, knows he has nothing to prove, but will be certainly eyeing more goals.

Despite his prodigious goal tally, Teerasil, like Irfan, hasn't scored since the group stage, and he will be keen to not only claim yet another golden boot but also score a milestone 20th goal in the tournament.
